Relax expression lines whilst still looking like you. Wrinkles are caused by repeated facial muscle contraction during facial expressions. Over time these lines can become more prominent and deeper. We use anti-wrinkle injections as they relax the muscles which pull down on our skin, thereby reducing fine lines and wrinkles. We can also use these injections to provide a lifting effect in certain areas which can produce a more youthful appearance.

Lip filler treatments are suitable for anyone has thin or dry lips, anyone who has concerns that their lips disappear when they smile, for those who have concerns about asymmetry of their lips, or feel that the upper or lower lip is not in proportion with the other lip. Or for anyone who wishes to have more full and plump lips.

The majority of people require no downtime following this procedures and can return to work and normal activities the same day. Some minimal swelling and bruising may occur, lasting a few days.

Results are immediate, but the full results are seen after two weeks.

The results from the lip filler typically last between 9-15 months. Although this may vary depending on individual factors.

Dr. Matt George from Ayu Aesthetics is a qualified General Practitioner (GP) with a background in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has a wealth of experience and respect for the skin and aesthetic detail, and is passionate about helping people look and feel their best.

Dr. George qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor in Surgery at the University of Birmingham, England in 2007. He worked in the QEHB, the main trauma centre in the UK, and found it especially rewarding working with and treating children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital caring for children with burns, as well as children with congenital birth defects such as cleft lips and palates.

After this, he gained a further qualification as a GP and also has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. In his spare time, he has also studied and developed an appreciation for Ayuverdic medicine, an ancient Indian approach to medicine which concentrates on diet and its healing properties.

Dr. George is dedicated to practising in a holistic manner, speaking to and treating people as the complex synergy of all the life experiences that has brought them to this specific day in their lives. He is delighted to merge together his skills in aesthetics with his passion of helping people look and so feel better at AYU aesthetics.

				I found the clinic well located for parking and clean and welcoming upon arrival. I was given plenty of time to talk through my concerns and the possible solutions. My treatment was carried out sympathetically to my fears. I'm terrified of most treatments, but my vanity and Dr George's patience won through. I can comment on the results in a couple of weeks, but have no reason to think they won't be good. I have a follow up appointment to ensure all is well.

				I had few procedures done at a different clinic and the experience was far from satisfactory. As such, I was a bit anxious about the procedure, however, I instantly was put at ease by Dr Matt's experience and knowledge. He answered all of my questions in detailed and understandable manner as well as was very clear about what to expect and limitations which was refreshing to hear. The treatment itself was quick and uneventful. Moving forward I’ll continue with getting procedures done at Dr Matt’s clinic and would highly recommend it to everyone.

				I came to see Dr Matt after trying several other places. I had also tried another procedure, which didn't work and was rather traumatic. It suffices to say I was equally scared and dubious when I arrived for my appointment.  I shouldn't have worried as I instantly was put at ease by Dr Matt's experience and knowledge. He answered all of my questions and was very candid about what to expect. His honesty was incredibly refreshing.  The treatment was quick and relatively painless, and the results are extraordinary! More importantly though my experience instantly cured my phobia and made me feel more assured. I just wish I had found Dr Matt sooner.
